Motorola Mobility Says Google Purchase Gets Chinese Approval

Google Inc. (GOOG)’s purchase of Motorola Mobility Holdings Inc. (MMI) has received approval from authorities in China, Motorola Mobility said today.
Motorola Mobility spokeswoman Jennifer Erickson confirmed the approval in an e-mailed statement. The deal is expected to close soon, the statement said.
