The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are as of the close of trading in Lima.
The Lima General Index (IGBVL) fell 0.7 percent to 20,501.81. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index slid 0.5 percent to 2,628.80.
Candente Copper Corp. (DNT) , a Canadian copper exploration company, dropped 3.3 percent to 58 cents, an 18- month low, as copper and U.S. and Canadian stocks declined, said Roberto Flores, head of research at Lima-based brokerage Inteligo SAB.
Credicorp Ltd. (BAP:US) , Peru’s largest financial-services company, fell 3.3 percent to $119 after Peru’s Banking Association said bad loan ratios rose to a 20-month high in April.
BBVA Banco Continental SA (CONTINC1) (CONTINC1 PE), the local unit of Spain’s Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria SA, declined for a fifth day, losing 2.3 percent to 6.01 soles.
