EBRD to Finance 25 Billion Euros of Sustainable-Energy Projects

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development plans to fund sustainable-energy projects valued at as much as 25 billion euros ($32 billion) over three years.

The next phase of the EBRD’s Sustainable Energy Initiative is aimed at delivering an annual reduction in carbon emissions in its countries of operations as large as 32 million metric tons, the bank said today in an e-mailed statement.
