South Korean household income rose for a 10th straight quarter from a year earlier as employers added more full-time jobs.
Average monthly income at households gained 6.9 percent to 4.1 million won ($3,495) in the first quarter from a year earlier after a 7.3 percent gain in the previous three months, Statistics Korea said in a report today.
Household monthly spending excluding tax and social security-related payments increased 5.3 percent to 2.6 million won last quarter from a year earlier.
