Komercni Banka Jumps Most in Two Weeks, Best Prague Performer

Komercni Banka AS (KOMB), the Czech unit of Societe Generale SA, jumped the most in almost two weeks, making it the best performer today in the country’s main stock index.

The stock rose as much as 3.4 percent, its biggest intraday advance since May 4, and traded up 2.3 percent at 3,376 koruna by 9:30 a.m. in Prague. The 14-member PX (PX) gauge, where Komercni Banka has an 18 percent weighting, was little changed at 875.70.
