Welspun Plans to Invest $225 Million in 2 Indian Solar Projects

Welspun Group, India’s largest solar photovoltaic developer, plans to invest $225 million to build two solar power plants in the central state of Madhya Pradesh.

Welspun expects it will take about 19 months to complete the Mandsaur district projects, one a 100-megawatt facility and the other 25 megawatts, according to an e-mailed statement.
