Japan to Host LNG Conference in September on Market Outlook

Japan, the world’s biggest buyer of liquefied natural gas, plans to hold a conference of officials from producing countries and companies, and consumers of the fuel.

The event will be hosted jointly by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Institute of Energy Economics, Japan, on Sept. 19 in Tokyo to discuss the outlook for supply of LNG, according to a statement released by the institute today.
