Italian Five-Year Yield Reaches 5% for First Time Since Jan. 31

Italy’s five-year notes fell, driving the yield on the securities to 5 percent for the first time since Jan. 31.

The rate climbed 21 basis points, or 0.21 percentage point, to 5.003 percent at 4:26 p.m. London time, after a 26 basis- point jump yesterday.
