France’s Gasoline Demand Dropped 8.6% Last Month, Group Says

Gasoline consumption in France dropped 8.6 percent in April versus a year earlier, according to an industry group.

The nation’s diesel demand fell 0.3 percent in the same period, the Union Francaise des Industries Petrolieres, known as UFIP, said today in an e-mailed statement. Diesel accounted for 80.6 percent of road-fuel consumption last month, it said.
