Chesapeake Files 10-Q After Saying It Needed More Time

Chesapeake Energy Corp. filed its 10- Q with the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission minutes after a filing was made public stating that the company needed more time to compile and analyze supporting documents.

The company also said it needed time to permit its accounting company to complete a review, according to the initial filing.
