Tullett Prebon Plc (TLPR), a London-based diversified inter-dealer broker, hired Tim Chillington as a manager of alternative investments in Hong Kong, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Chillington will cover Asia secondary loans trading and began his new role on May 2, the person said. He was previously head of secondary loans and illiquid broking at GFI Group Inc. (GFIG) in Hong Kong, the person said.

A Tullett Prebon spokeswoman in London, Charlotte Kirkham, didn’t reply to an e-mail seeking comment on the appointment.
