Veolia Wins EU40M Indian Water Purification Contract, Echos Says

Veolia Environnement SA (VIE) is about to announce that it has won a contract to build and operate a water putrification plant at Nilothi near New Delhi in India, French daily Les Echos reported.

The newspaper cited Jean-Michel Herrewyn, chief executive officer of Veolia’s water unit. The contract is worth about 40 million euros ($53 million), Les Echos said.
