Persian Gulf Stocks: Emaar Economic City and Khaleeji Commercial

The DFM General Index (DFMGI) decreased for a sixth day in the longest losing streak since November, declining 1.6 percent at the 2 p.m. close in the emirate. Saudi Arabia’s Tadawul All Share Index (SASEIDX) was little changed.

The following shares were active in the Persian Gulf region. Stock symbols are in parentheses.

Emaar Economic City (EMAAR) , a unit of the developer of the world’s tallest tower, rose 1.1 percent to 13.35 riyals. Emaar Middle East started handing buyers keys to homes in Saudi Arabia’s eastern province.

Khaleeji Commercial Bank (KHCB) fell for the first time since April 10, losing 2.4 percent to 0.04 dinar. The Bahraini lender said it gave Dubai’s Meydan a $40 million loan.
