Aneka, BFI Finance, Surya Semesta: Indonesian Equity Preview

Shares of the following companies may have unusual moves in Indonesian trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and share prices are as of the previous close.

The Jakarta Composite index rose 0.6 percent to 4,219.30.

Nickel producers: Nickel futures declined 2.4 percent to $17,285 a metric ton in London yesterday, the lowest close since March 29. PT Vale Indonesia (INCO) , the nation’s largest producer of the metal, fell 0.8 percent to 3,075 rupiah and PT Aneka Tambang (ANTM) , the second biggest, dropped 1.2 percent to 1,710 rupiah.

PT BFI Finance Indonesia (BFIN IJ): The leasing and consumer financing company plans to sell 500 billion rupiah ($54 million) of bonds in June 6 and June 7 to expand its business, it said in a statement published in Investor Daily Indonesia. BFI Finance rose 1.1 percent to 4,700 rupiah.

PT Surya Semesta Internusa (SSIA) : The industrial and residential estate company may spend 750 billion rupiah to buy 1,500 hectares of land this year, Bisnis Indonesia reported, citing President Director Johannes Suriadjaja. The stock fell 1.7 percent to 1,180 rupiah.
