Kenya Foreign-Currency Reserves Rise to $4.64 Billion

Kenya’s foreign-currency reserves rose to $4.64 billion in the week to yesterday from $4.45 billion in the previous period, the Central Bank of Kenya said.

The average interbank lending rate rose to 19.31 percent to April 25 from 15.14 percent last week, the Nairobi-based lender said in an e-mailed statement today.
