Cattle futures for June delivery climbed 0.5 percent to $1.12075 a pound on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange at 8:06 a.m. Tokyo time. Futures fell by the exchange limit of 3 cents, or 2.6 percent yesterday as a case of mad-cow disease was reported in the U.S.
