Germany May Take Stake in Offshore Wind Grid Operator, FAZ Says

The German government may take a stake in a new grid operator to bring power from sea-based wind farms to consumers, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung reported, citing unidentified Economy Ministry officials.

Germany may take part via its KfW Group state development bank in a new group that may be formed after delays in connecting offshore wind projects to the grid, the newspaper said.
