Spanish, Italian Bonds Rise; Spain’s 10-Yr Yield Falls to 6.01%

Spanish and Italian government bonds advanced, pushing Spain’s 10-year yield down six basis points to 6.01 percent at 8:23 a.m. London time.

Italian 10-year yields declined five basis points to 5.54 percent, while its two-year note yields fell nine basis points to 3.27 percent.

Spain’s two-year rate slid six basis points to 3.58 percent.
