Malaysian Stock Market Movers: Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia, MKH

Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Malaysia trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the 12:30 p.m. trading break in Kuala Lumpur.

The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI Index (FBMKLCI) rose 0.69 point, or less than 0.1 percent, to 1,598.20.

Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia Bhd. (CAB MK) added 0.7 percent to 10.90 ringgit, poised to close at a record. The stock’s so- called fair value was raised to 11.60 ringgit from 10.90 ringgit at RHB Capital Bhd. to reflect higher earnings prospects over the next three years, the brokerage said in a report today.

MKH Bhd. (MKH) , a property developer, gained 1 percent to 2.02 ringgit, bound for its highest close since March 22. The company proposed a one-for-10 bonus share issue, it said in a stock-exchange filing.
