Italy-Led Group to Build Container Terminal in Rijeka, Croatia

A group of companies including Italy’s Grandi Lavori Fincosit SpA and Impresa di Construzioni Giuseppe Maltauro SpA, and Croatia’s Osijek-Koteks d.d., signed a contract to build a container terminal in the Croatian port of Rijeka.

The terminal, estimated to cost 70.5 million euros ($92 million), should be completed by 2017, Ivan Jaksic, marketing manager at the port operator Lucka Uprava Rijeka, said today in a phone interview.
