Gazprom Extends Declines as Putin Calls Gas Tax Insufficient

OAO Gazprom extended declines after Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said the tax burden on Russia’s natural gas producers is too low, making it “economically unjustified.”

The shares of the country’s gas export monopoly slid as much as 1.7 percent to 171.50 rubles after the comments by Putin at a government meeting in Moscow.
