Budapest to Buy Back Foreign Stakes in Sewage Works, Nemzet Says

Budapest Mayor Istvan Tarlos wants to buy back foreign-owned stakes in the capital’s sewage works after repurchasing a minority holding in the capital’s water works, Magyar Nemzet reported, citing plans obtained from City Hall.

Berlinwasser Holding AG and Veolia Environnement SA (VIE) hold a total 25 percent stake in the Budapest sewage works, according to the company’s website.
