Turkish Bank Loans Drop 0.3% to 707 Billion Liras in Week

Bank loans in Turkey fell 0.3 percent to 707 billion liras ($392 billion) in the week to April 6, compared with a 1.3 percent increase in the previous week, the banking regulator said today.

The loans grew 24 percent on April 6 from a year ago, according to data on the Ankara-based regulator’s website.
