Russia’s output of poultry and its byproducts increased about 21 percent to 826,000 metric tons in the first quarter compared with a year earlier, the country’s Federal State Statistics Service said.
Production of meats and their byproducts, excluding poultry, gained 11 percent to 290,000 tons in the first three months, the Moscow-based service, known as Rosstat, said today in an e-mailed statement.
