Israel Stocks: Partner, Kamada, Mellanox, Tower Semiconductor

Israel’s TA-25 index advanced 0.4 percent, the most since April 10, to 1,114.72 at 12:13 in Tel Aviv.

The following stocks rose or fell today. Symbols are in parentheses.

Kamada Ltd. (KMDA) advanced 2.6 percent to 23.90 shekels, the highest since Oct. 27, giving the Nes Ziona-based company a market value of 660 million shekels ($175.6 million). The biopharmaceutical company said initial results from Phase I and II clinical trials on a drug to treat juvenile diabetes showed a positive trend.

Mellanox Technologies Ltd. (MLNX) increased 1.6 percent, the most since April 8, to 155.80 shekels. The price estimate of the company partly owned by Oracle Corp. was raised to $47 from $44 by Clal Finance Brokerage Ltd.

Partner Communications Ltd. (PTNR) , the country’s second biggest mobile-phone company, fell 1.1 percent to 25.75 shekels, the lowest since October 2004. The company was cut to “market perform” from “outperform” at Bank Leumi Le-Israel Ltd.

Tower Semiconductor Ltd. (TSEM) advanced 4.3 percent to 3.27 shekels, the most on an intraday basis since April 1. The maker of customized chips said it would work with NeoFidelity Inc. to supply audio amplifiers to Samsung Electronics Co. and LG Electronics Inc.
