Lubelski Wegiel Bogdanka SA (LWB), Poland’s second-largest publicly traded coal producer, headed for its lowest close in almost a week as thermal coal prices declined.
The stock retreated as much as 1.8 percent and traded down 1.2 percent at 125 zloty by 3:22 p.m. in Warsaw, set to end trading at the weakest level since April 10.
Thermal coal for 2013 delivery dropped 0.7 percent to $112.75 a metric ton, the lowest on a closing basis since March 15, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
