Kenya's Biwott Sets Paris Marathon Record, Parisien Says

Kenyan runner Stanley Biwott, 26, won the Paris Marathon today in a course-record time of two hours, five minutes and 11 seconds, le Parisien said on its website. He’d also won the semi-marathon on March 4, le Parisien said.

Tirfi Beyene, an Ethiopian, won the women’s race, also finishing the course in a record time of two hours, 21 minutes and 39 seconds, le Parisien said, without giving Beyene’s age.
