Australia reached 208-5 on day one of the second cricket Test against West Indies after winning the toss on a slow pitch in Port of Spain, Trinidad.
Shane Watson top scored with 56 off 172 balls, while captain Michael Clarke made 45. Mike Hussey was 26 not out at stumps, with Matthew Wade on 11.
West Indies off-spinner Shane Shillingford, playing his first Test since November 2010, took two wickets for 56 runs from his 32 overs. Fast bowler Kemar Roach also took two wickets.
Australia, which won the first Test in Barbados by three wickets, picked two specialist spin bowlers with Michael Beer coming in to partner Nathan Lyon. The final match in Dominica starts April 23.
