Vestel in Turkey Falls to Month-Low on Reporting Loss in 2011

Vestel Elektronik Sanayi & Ticaret AS (VESTL), a Turkish consumer electronics and home appliances manufacturer, dropped to the lowest level in almost a month after reporting a loss in 2011.

Vestel Elektronik fell as much as 3.6 percent before paring its loss to 0.5 percent at 2.19 liras, the lowest since March 16.

The full-year loss was 35.4 million liras ($20 million) last year, compared with a profit of 38.4 million liras in 2010, Vestel said in a statement to the Istanbul Stock Exchange late yesterday.
