Spanish 10-Year Bonds Advance; Yield Declines to 5.96 Percent

Spanish 10-year bonds advanced, pushing the yield on the securities two basis points lower to 5.96 percent as of 7:53 a.m. London time.

Italian bonds of a similar maturity also rose, with the yield dropping four basis points to 5.65 percent.
