Erwin Hameseder, currently chief executive officer of Raiffeisenlandesbank NOe-Wien AG, has been proposed as chairman of Raiffeisen Zentralbank Oesterreich AG (RZBOPA), to succeed Christian Konrad, who plans to retire this year.
Hameseder will also become head of Raiffeisen Holding NOe- Wien, the Vienna-based company said in a statement today. Konrad is proposing that Hameseder be succeeded by Klaus Buchleitner as CEO of RLB NOe-Wien and as head of Raiffeisen Holding NOe-Wien, according to the statement. The votes are due to take place at annual general meetings on May 4.
Raiffeisen Holding owns stakes in 720 companies including RLB NOe-Wien, Agrana Beteiligungs AG (AGR), Strabag SE (STR) and Do & Co Restaurants & Catering AG (DOC), according to its website.
RZB, which is closely held by eight regional cooperative lenders including RLB NOe-Wien, is the main shareholder of Raiffeisen Bank International AG. (RBI)
