The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are as of 3:10 p.m. Lima time.
The Lima General Index (IGBVL) fell 0.1 percent to 23,270.01. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index (MXPECAPD) slid 0.1 percent to 2,958.74.
Cementos Lima SA (CEMLIMC1 PE), the country’s biggest cement maker, rose 2.2 percent to 2.84 soles after U.S. stocks rebounded, said Jorge Ramirez, a trader at Lima-based brokerage Coril SAB.
Credicorp Ltd. (BAP:US) , Peru’s largest financial-services company, advanced 1.1 percent to $134.50 after Chief Executive Officer Walter Bayly said Peruvian lending is slated to expand 20 percent this year.
Empresa Siderurgica del Peru SAA (SIDERC1 PE), a unit of Gerdau SA known as Siderperu, advanced 1 percent to 99 centimos.
Candente Copper Corp. (DNT) , a Canadian copper exploration company, rose 1 percent to $1 after copper gained in London.
Minsur SA (MINSURI1 PE), the world’s fourth-largest tin producer, fell 2.3 percent to 2.96 soles.
