The Carolina Panthers signed a three-year contract extension with wide receiver Steve Smith, the team’s career touchdown leader.

Financial terms weren’t disclosed in a news release from the National Football League club.

Smith has spent his entire 11-year NFL career with the Panthers, scoring 67 touchdowns and catching 699 passes for 10,278 yards, all franchise marks. Last season, he became the 35th player in NFL history with 10,000 receiving yards and has caught at least one pass in 75 straight games since 2006, according to the release.
