Kuwait Petroleum International Ltd., a unit of Kuwait Petroleum Corp., is seeking to buy as much as 210,000 metric tons of ultra-low-sulfur diesel in May and June in Europe, according to a company official.
KPI, as the company is known, is tendering to buy four to seven cargoes of the fuel amid planned maintenance at its Milazzo refinery on the Italian island of Sicily in May, the official, who declined to be identified citing company policy, said today in an e-mailed response.
The tender closes tomorrow, the official said.
