Polish Stocks: Bank Pekao, KGHM Polska Miedz Active in Warsaw

Poland’s WIG20 Index (WIG20) gained 0.3 percent to 2,263.35 at the close in Warsaw.

The following are among the most active stocks on the Warsaw Stock Exchange today. Stock symbols follow company names.

Bank Pekao SA (PEO) , the country’s second-largest lender, advanced 0.3 percent to 146 zloty after JPMorgan Chase & Co. lifted the share-estimate of the Polish unit of UniCredit SpA to 173 zloty from 150 zloty.

KGHM Polska Miedz SA (KGH) , Poland’s sole copper miner, climbed 2.7 percent to 144.8 zloty, rising for the first time in three days as a report showed the job market in the U.S., the world’s second-biggest consumer of the metal, improved.
