Tiger Woods will be grouped with Miguel Angel Jimenez of Spain and Sang-Moon Bae of South Korea for the opening two rounds of the Masters Tournament, golf’s first major championship of the year.
Woods, a four-time Masters winner, will tee off at Augusta National Golf Club at 10:35 a.m. New York time on April 5.
Three-time Masters winner Phil Mickelson will be in the final group of the day with Hunter Mahan of the U.S. and Peter Hanson of Sweden, teeing off at 1:53 p.m. in Augusta, Georgia.
Rory McIlroy of Northern Ireland will play in the group ahead of Mickelson, paired with 2009 Masters winner Angel Cabrera of Argentina and Bubba Watson of the U.S.
The tournament has a field of 96 players. American Dustin Johnson withdrew today due to an undisclosed injury. Johnson has battled a back injury this season.
