CBS Corp. (CBS) said its broadcast of the men’s college basketball championship game last night, won by the University of Kentucky (28266MF), averaged 20.9 million viewers, a 4 percent gain from last year’s finale.
Kentucky’s victory over the University of Kansas drew the second-biggest audience for the championship in the last seven years, New York-based CBS said today in a statement.
