Twelve companies are bidding for Germany’s Bundesliga soccer television rights for the 2013/14 season, Handelsblatt reported, citing unidentified people close to the bidders.

Among the group are Deutsche Telekom AG (DTE), Sky Deutschland AG (SKYD), RTL Group SA (RTL), ProbsiebenSat.1 Media AG (PSM), Unity Media and Kabel Deutschland Holding AG (KD8), the newspaper said.
