Vodafone Group Plc (VOD) Deputy Chairman John Buchanan will resign from the world’s biggest mobile-phone operator, the Sunday Telegraph reported, without saying where it got the information.

Buchanan will become chairman of ARM Holdings Plc (ARM), a semiconductor design company that produces chip designs for much of the world’s mobile-phone market, according to the newspaper.

A spokesman for Vodafone declined to comment when contacted by Bloomberg News.
