The NFL Players Association has hired outside counsel for the New Orleans Saints players involved in the team’s bounty case, the Associated Press reported, without saying where it got the information.

The association has told players there is a chance they could face criminal charges and suggested players have a lawyer present when interviewed by NFL investigators.
