Wal-Mart’s Chile Unit Plans to Register $575 Million Bond Shelf

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (WMT:US)’s Chilean unit plans to register bonds worth 12.5 million unidades de fomento, the country’s inflation-adjusted accounting unit, or about $575 million.

The 10-year notes will repay existing debt, Wal-Mart Chile said in a statement on the securities regulator’s website.
