Spanish 10-year bonds fell, pushing the yield on the securities up three basis points to 5.35 percent at 8:23 a.m. London time.
Spain’s two-year note yield climbed five basis points to 2.51 percent. Similar-maturity Italian securities also declined, with the yield gaining four basis points to 2.67 percent.
German 10-year bunds were little changed, yielding 1.83 percent.
