Peru Stocks: Alturas, Minera IRL, Panoro, Rio Alto

The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are as of 4:14 p.m. in Lima.

The Lima General Index (IGBVL) fell 0.9 percent to 23,335.12. The MSCI (MXPECAPD) All Peru Capped Index was little changed at 2,935.45.

Alturas Minerals Corp. (ALT) , a Canadian copper and gold exploration company, fell 8.3 percent to 11 cents after U.S. stocks and commodities including copper dropped earlier, said Elena Castro, vice-president of Western European & Latin American Equities at Auerbach Grayson & Co LLC.

Panoro Minerals Ltd. (PML) , a Canadian copper and gold exploration company, fell 2.6 percent to 76 cents.

Minera IRL Ltd. (MIRL) , a U.K. gold producer with a mine in Peru, declined 1.8 percent to $1.10 after gold dropped earlier in New York.

Rio Alto Mining Ltd. (RIO) , a Canadian gold miner, fell 1.6 percent to $4.40.
