Naftogaz Picks Gazprombank for Credit Line, Interfax Says

NAK Naftogaz Ukrainy, Ukraine’s state-run energy company, picked OAO Gazprombank (GZPR), the lending arm of Russian natural gas export monopoly OAO Gazprom (GAZP), for a $2 billion credit line, Interfax-Ukraine newswire reported, citing government documents.

Servicing the credit line will cost $1.54 billion during the loan’s seven-year term, according to the Kiev-based newswire.
