EON Chief Suggests Energy Subsidies for Low Earners, Bild Says

EON AG Chief Executive Officer Johannes Teyssen said the German government should give subsidies to low-income households if the country’s withdrawal from nuclear power results in very high energy prices, Bild Zeitung reported.

The transition from nuclear power shouldn’t make energy a luxury item, Teyssen told the newspaper.
