RBS to Repay U.K.’s Funding by Second Quarter, Van Saun Says

Royal Bank of Scotland Group Plc (RBS) will repay all of its debt provided by the U.K. government’s Credit Guarantee Scheme funding program by the second quarter, Finance Director Bruce Van Saun said.

The Bank of England’s Special Liquidity Scheme was fully repaid in January, the bank said in a presentation based on comments made at a Morgan Stanley confernce in London today.
