Portugal Wants Extra 10% Cut in Government Spending, Jornal Says

Portugal wants to cut spending by an additional 10 percent in all government services in the 2013 to 2015 period, Jornal de Negocios said, citing an internal document from the Finance Ministry.

A substantial part of the effort to reduce expenditures by at least 10 percent should start to take place next year, the Portuguese newspaper said, citing the document.
