Portugal 2-Year Note Yield Drops Below 10%, 1st Time Since April

Portuguese two-year notes advanced, pushing the yield on the securities below 10 percent for the first time since April 2011.

The note yield dropped 116 basis points to 9.40 percent at 11:19 a.m. London time. Portugal’s 10-year bonds also rose, with the yield falling 65 basis points to 11.57 percent. That’s the lowest since Nov. 24.
