IAG Plans to Keep TAP Airport Hub in Lisbon, Economico Reports

International Consolidated Airlines Group SA (IAG), the owner of British Airways, plans to keep Lisbon as the hub airport for Portuguese carrier TAP SGPS SA (TAP) if it succeeds in buying the state-owned airline, Diario Economico reported, citing unidentified people close to IAG.

The Lisbon airport is strategic for TAP’s ties to the Brazilian and African markets, the Portuguese newspaper reported.
