House Postpones Vote on 90-Day Extension of U.S. Highway Bill

House leaders canceled a vote scheduled for tonight on a bill to extend U.S. highway programs for 90 days past a March 31 expiration date, saying more time is needed to discuss the measure with Democrats.

The measure will go to a vote later this week, Michael Steel, a spokesman for House Speaker John Boehner, said in an e- mail.
